Wooden furniture adds warmth, coziness and a timeless expression to maritime environments and hotels, and helps create welcoming surroundings for guests, crew and employees. The use of wood provides a balance between functionality and aesthetics, and contributes to increased well-being in cabins, lounges, common areas and hotel rooms.

With the right choice of materials and surface treatment, wooden furniture is also well suited to environments with high demands on operation, cleaning and durability. Wood is a robust material that can have a long lifespan, even with intensive use, provided it is treated and maintained correctly.

Wooden furniture treated with acid-cured varnish has high resistance to moisture and wear, and can withstand frequent cleaning. This makes it suitable for maritime environments and hotels where cleaning is done regularly and the surfaces are exposed to daily use.

Wood is also a renewable material, and using FSC-certified wood contributes to responsible forestry and reduces the environmental footprint. This makes wooden furniture a good choice in projects with a focus on sustainability and documented material choices.
